ENTERPRISE PLATFORM EVOLUTION
Moving a mature product towards multi-instance operation
Engineering experience delivering external database support and the architectural changes required for high-availability, multi-node deployments. The outcome was a platform capable of operating beyond an embedded, single-instance database model.

RUNTIME MODERNISATION
Evolving an established Java runtime
Hands-on work on a Jetty 9 to Jetty 12 migration and changes to application dependency injection. The work required navigating compatibility and integration constraints in an existing product rather than starting from scratch.

Making enterprise deployments repeatable
Engineering experience with Kubernetes and Helm deployment approaches, reference architectures and enterprise environments including AWS, Azure and OpenShift.

Run Cloud Native was founded by Olu Shiyanbade, a UK-based software engineer with more than 17 years of experience designing, operating and modernising enterprise systems.
Olu has worked on Java runtime modernisation, external database support, multi-instance high availability and Kubernetes deployments. We work with engineering organisations and established consultancies that need specialist capability on difficult backend, database and platform work. Our approach is pragmatic, collaborative and grounded in direct implementation experience.
